Medical Journey
Dr. Hooman graduated from medical school in Iran in 2003 and spent seven years working as a GP in rural and remote communities. In 2015, he relocated to Australia and joined Queensland Health, gaining broad experience across multiple specialties in hospitals throughout the state.
Professional Experience
Most recently, Dr. Hooman worked as a registrar in psychiatry (mental health) and supported his community at the Respiratory Clinic during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2022. In early 2023, he returned to general practice, caring for patients in Bribie Island and Dayboro.
